Somerset and Dorset Animal Rescue is run purely on the kind donations of the public and local companies.  Without these donations we would not be able to continue saving animals lives.

We would like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who over the years has donated, not just money but bedding, food and their time in helping us.

Here are just a few people we would like to mention.

Some of our dogs are in a dreadful state when they arrive and are in great need of a bath! We would like to say a MASSIVE thank you to KD Grooming Studio who take care of them!

Kelly and her team are based at the rescue and provide grooming for dogs and cats. They all treat our dogs with care and make them look their best for their new homes.

They are all passionate about their work and this was proved when they were awarded UK grooming business of the year 2014. To find out more about KD Grooming please click here.

Once again THANK YOU!

A BIG thank you the volunteer team from Royal Canine Ltd who gave their time to come and help us around the rescue.

They painted the stables, creosoted the fencing and cleaned the cattery. All of which were massive jobs and now gives the rest of the volunteers more time to spend with the animals.

THANK YOU!!

A thank you goes out to Christine and the rest of the team at Blackmore Vale vets who help us with the animals

Thank you

We would like to thank Bruton Vets who regularly help us with the neutering and spaying of the animals that come in along with any other health issues they may have

Thank You
